Durable Impact Resistance
800 and 810 Crash Rails provide durable impact resistance for maximum wall protection. They meet UL requirements. Supplied in textured .080 inch thick (800series) or ribbed .100 thick (810 series) scratch and stain resistant rigid vinyl rails that are mounted on sturdy aluminum or plastic brackets. Corners and returns are molded from .100 inch thick ABS designed with maximum webbing for matchless impact protection. Provides an 8" wide band of cover.

Design features:

• Wheelchairs, carts, beds or hand-held items carelessly brushing along the wall can create extensive damage, but not when protected be Tepromark Crash Rails.
• Protects against fungus and bacteria growth.
• Preserves a wide band of protection at the height where most damage occurs. The crash rail is 8 inches high and projects 1-1/16 inches from the wall.
• A complete system that includes molded ABS end caps, outside corners and inside corners.
• Wide range of colors.
• The standard rail length is 12 feet long.
• Crash Rails can be fitted with up to two impact absorbers, which increase strength and protect the rails from damage when severely impacts. Impact absorbers are continuous and run along the entire length of rail that is mounted on an aluminum retainer. When mounted on aluminum or plastic brackets, built in impact absorbers pinpoint impact.
• Snap the vinyl cover over mounting brackets, aluminum or plastic, or continuous aluminum retainer and installation is complete.
• Reduces maintenance and cleaning costs. Smooth top makes it easier to wipe clean. Textured (800 series) or ribbed (810 series) surfaces along the length of the rail prevents gouges, scuffs and scratches that can lead to early replacement when materials, such as wood, are used

Where used:

Crash Rails should be installed wherever moving objects that result in gouges, scratches and scuffs can damage vertical interior surfaces. Their attractive designs enhance any space where they are installed.

• Walls and partitions in commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, retirement homes and sport venues in their lobbies, waiting rooms, ballrooms, meeting rooms, hallways or any other heavy traffic areas.
• On counters in retail stores, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, offices. etc.
• Displays, cabinets and plinths used in retail stores, hotels, etc.
• Rectangular columns.

Mounting options:

Mounting options 1-3 represent an ascending scale of durability and cost.

• Mounting option 1
  A textured or ribbed vinyl cover mounted on plastic brackets.
• Mounting option 2
  A textured or ribbed vinyl cover mounted on metal brackets.
• Mounting option 3
  A textured or ribbed vinyl cover mounted on a continuous retainer with an impact absorber.

System components:

800-1 - Aluminum Retainer- Profiled aluminum extrusion over which a PVC cover is mounted. One or two impact absorbers can be mounted in the retainer. Standard length 12 feet.

500-2 - Impact Absorber- Extruded PVC profile designed to mount in an aluminum retainer. Standard length 12 feet

800-3 - Vinyl Cover (textured)- Extruded PVC profile designed to mount over an aluminum retainer. Standard length 12 feet

810-3 - Vinyl Cover (ribbed)- Extruded PVC profile designed to mount an an aluminum retainer. Standard length 12 feet

800-4 - End Cap for 800 series- Molded ABS end piece (right and left)

810-4 - End Cap for 810 series- Molded ABS end piece (right and left)

800-5 - Corner Adapter (right and left)

800-6 - Inside Corner- Molded ABS (800 series only)

800-7 - Metal Joint Block- Extra impact strength where ends of PVC covers are butted against one another. (For use only when mounted on brackets)

Ordering Information:

Any quantity will be shipped in "quick Ship" program colors. Other colors in the standards palette for less than 1000 feet there will be a set up charge. Any color will be matched with an order of 2500 feet or more. There will be a surcharge for orders less than 2500 feet.
