Maximum IMPACT strength

The 400 buffer provides maximum impact strength to protect walls from damage and wear. Triangular shape prevents maximum impact at any single impact point. The 400 High Impact Buffer is UL approved and is comprised of an .080 inch thick textured vinyl cover mounted on a .080 inch thick aluminum retainer with a special impact absorbing web. End caps and corners are molded .100 thick ABS designed with maximum webbing for matchless impact protection.

Design features:

• At four inches high, it is ideal when placed low on the wall and used in conjunction with another wall protection profile placed at a higher level.
• Wall protection is 2 inches, somewhat more than the 500 and 800 series crash rails. Wheels that protrude further than the upper section of carts, make contact with the buffer first. This gives added wall protection when these two profiles are used together.
• A complete system that includes molded ABS end caps, outside corners and inside corners.
• The impact absorber is a integral part of the continuous aluminum retainer, offering maximum impact absorption.
• Reduces maintenance costs. Prevents wheeled carts and wheelchairs from damaging walls.
• Installs easily by snapping the vinyl cover over the aluminum retainer.
• Rails are provided in 12 foot lengths in a variety of colors.

400-01 - Aluminum Retainer- Profiled aluminum extrusion over which the PVC cover is mounted

130-03 - Vinyl Cover- Extruded PVC profile designed to mount over an aluminum retainer

400-04 - End Cap- Molded, textured ABS end piece (right and left)

400-05 - Corner Adapter- Create a corner by combining a molded ABS corner adapter with part number 400-04 end cap

400-06 - Inside Corner- Molded textured ABS

Installation:

Each order is shipped in "Quick Ship" Program colors. Other colors in the standard palette for less than 1000 feet there will be a set-up
charge. Any color will be matched with an order of 2500 feet or more. There will be a surcharge for orders less than 2500 feet.
